Children's Hospital of Illinois believes total patient care includes attention to the spiritual as well as the physical and emotional needs of each patient. Members of the Pastoral Care Team are in the medical center 24 hours a day to assist families and patients. The team includes chaplains who have specialized training for hospital ministry. The chaplains are Roman Catholic priests and deacons, religious Sisters and Protestant ministers. The family’s own priest, minister or rabbi is always welcome to visit at any time.
