Modern Opportunities to Serve as Ambassadors In the Community

Established in 2003, M.O.S.A.I.C. is a subcommittee of Children's Hospital of Illinois Community Advisory Board.  The group has two central goals:

  • To build awareness of Children's Hospital of Illinois and its specific programs and services within the community
  • To actively engage members of the community to serve as representatives of Children's Hospital of Illinois in a variety of settings

The group plans and hosts four annual events:   2 family-oriented and 2 for adults only.  Events often include entertainment, giveaways and educational information about Children's Hospital of Illinois.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone in the Central Illinois area who would like to get more involved with Children's Hospital of Illinois.

Each member serves as an ambassador for the hospital as well as helping with the planning and facilitation of annual events.  The background of members varies from young professionals to stay-at-home moms, but each is very dedicated to the goal of representing Children's Hospital of Illinois in the community.
