The Eating Disorders Program provides comprehensive medical, nutritional and psychological care to adults and adolescents with eating disorders. Because of the complex nature of these disorders, they offer treatment from a variety of professionals including dietitians, nurses, occupational therapy staff, physicians, psychologists, and psychotherapists. After having a psychotherapist evaluate the patient, they will then determine the treatment plan.
The department offers outpatient services and partial hospitalization. They also offer a Patient Support Group for those recovering from anorexia nervosa and/or bulimia nervosa, and a Family Awareness Support Group designed to help family and friends who have a significant other who is currently or has previously struggled with an eating disorder.
