Procedural sedation/analgesia is offered at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois.  Referring physicians may consult the sedation/analgesia team for short procedures, such as CT scans, interventional radiology, MRI scans, bone marrow aspiration and ABR audiology exams. The team consists of intensivists, hospitalists, and registered nurses. They may be consulted regarding safe and appropriate pain and anxiety management of pediatric patients.
