The Division of Allergy and Pulmonary Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Illinois provides comprehensive consultative services to infants, children, and adolescents with allergic and respiratory diseases. This includes acute and chronic asthma, chronic cough, recurrent respiratory infections, and other forms of respiratory disease, as well as allergic rhinitis, food allergy, urticaria and other types of allergic disease states. The staff includes physicians, nurses, nutritionists, social workers and respiratory therapists who are specially trained in treating children with a variety of allergic and respiratory conditions. Inpatient and outpatient consultation care is provided for children with these allergic or respiratory problems.
