This unit is located on the ground and first floor of the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. A 35-bed unit is under the direction of pediatric hospitalists. Also located in this unit is the Family Resource Center; this space allows families 24-hour-a-day access to a computer to research information related to their child’s illness; child activity rooms; a teen lounge, and an outdoor play area for patients to use during their stay with us.
