Advisory Board
As ambassadors for Children's Hospital, members of the Community Advisory Board lead, act and advocate for the hospital, sharing its role and mission with their respective communities. They also advise the hospital and make important contributions to its fundraising programs. They contribute their time and expertise to advance the Children's Hospital mission through philanthropic initiatives and programs designed to support Children's Hospital of Illinois.

Subcommittees include:
Advocacy - this committee delivers educational programs to parents, patients and the community in health, safety and injury prevention. Sharon Mindock - Chair.
Corporate Development - this committee works to enhance the support of Children's Hospital through annual corporate gifts. Patti Bash - Chair.
Development - this committee devotes all its time and energy to fundraising culminating in the Children's Miracle Network Telethon the first Sunday in June. Jayme Bailey - Chair.
H.I.P.P. (Healthcare for International Pediatric Patients) - this committee exists to review international patient care requests. The committee consists of physicians, ethicists, financial staff, and community advisory board members. Reverend Tony Pierce - Chair.
M.O.S.A.I.C. (Modern Opportunities to Serve as Ambassadors in the Community) - this committee serves as ambassadors, hosting two family events and two evening events each year to promote the name of Children's Hospital in the community. Jeff Ruskusky, M.D.- Chair.
